A list of Sevens

I'm going to try and do two posts.  One right now and one when I get home after work tonight.  They both deal with games but I don't have time this morning to combine them or to post both now becasue one has to do with pictures I have to resize before I put them here.

Okay, I don't sually do the games that circulate in J-Land.  I enjoy reading and seeing them in the other journals, but I said in my last post I wanted to lighten things up for just a bit and three people have been kind enough to tag me for this one, so here goes.

Before I get into this morning's game, I want to thank the first two players to post for the Horizon Picture Game.  Click on these two links, they both did a super job and have great journals to boot!

I will do another post tonight with the first of my horizon game pics and end the game on Tuesday with the rest of my three horizons I presented.

For today's game I want to thank:

and Celeste http://journals.aol.com/csandhollow/Mydayandthoughts/entries/2173

The spaghetti sauce gets me too!! Great photos for your horizon game, I think I understand what you mean now!! Pity I'm not coming to Savannah this year now, I could have been added to your list of J-Landers you have met, some other time maybe! Hope you get to do some of your other wishes. Jeannette.

I have never played any games in j-land. Yet. I wanted to touch on one of your interests though. You play guitar. My hubby plays as well, spent many many years in different bands. He is a singer/songwriter/guitar player. He has hung it up for the moment though. His last band split up about a year ago. They have a web site somewhere on the internet with snippets of their music.

It really amazes me how many people I associate with out here have so much in common with my hubby and I. It was really great to learn these things about you. That spaghetti thing sounds VERY familiar. ;)

LOVE it Sam!  We are headed your way this year...let's plan.  The red sauce thing?  No worries...it's gender specific. ;)  C.  http://journals.aol.com/gdireneoe/thedailies

You mean that red stuff is NOT supposed to get on our clothes?

Sam I work for a boat company (crew supply boats and seismic)  here in Southeast Louisiana....I love it!  We have 8 boats and adding 3 more.  It keeps the office staff extremely busy! I say boats but they look like ships to me!

I wanna hear you play guitar & sing Sam. You had some good answers for the game. Have a great day. Helen

this is a cute game... I have resisted because of the sexual orientation thing. We are just always glad when you post. :) judi

I have learned so much about everyone in J-Land through these...I am glad you played and if we ever meet the first thing I want you to do is play the guitar and sing your favorite song...you have so many gifts Sam...God has blessed you mightily...I am so happy to know everyone here in J-Land ...the longer we are here the closer knit our family is becoming...until one day finally we will all be connected at much deeper levels than we dreamed.cMp

I think that it's a rule:  if you eat spaghetti, ribs or anything else with red sauce, you are supposed to get some on you.

I had fun reading your answers.  You are a good spiritual man.  AND terrific grandpa!

Oh, Sam ... I loved reading your list.  I feel like I know a bit more about you now, which is a good thing !  By the way, I met Lindsay Wagner once, ( she is related to a friend of my daughter ) and she really is better looking in person than she is on television, and a nice gal, too.  Just thought you might like to know that !  Tina

I am glad you participated in this.. it is a fun way to learn a little more about everyone here. My ex LOVED Lindsay Wagner, so we ended up with a daughter named Lindsay.
Oh and so you think red sauce/food is a problem for you?  Well my problem is if I wear a white shirt, then I will spill anything or everything on it... no matter WHAT color it is!!!!

I was tagged for this one too... by several people including Gem. The entire Middle East is such a fascinating place, if only it wasn't ravaged by war now. The very cradle of civilization bombed into ruins. Best of luck with your musical aspirations... I so envy anyone who can play a musical instrument... go for it! What venue are you interested in?.... jazz, classical, small groups? One of my goals is to have a j-land get-together... maybe we should meet halfway in the middle of the country? Take over a small town? Or dive into the metro of Chicago? We have been looking into getting our very first new car and also have dreams of an alternative fuel vehicle. You are far more mechanically inclined than I... not sure if help would insure I would rebuild an engine, or build a house (but then doesn't everyone need some sort of help with projects like that).

Great way to gain insight in others. Here's my list of 7 if you have time to venture over.
