I know it’s been at least a week since my last post. I didn’t mean for it to be so long, but it’s been a busy week at work with me staying overtime due to the blessing of the fleet and our annual dock party. I also had to build a tent for a cat. Yes, I said cat, LOL! I’ll share more about that in my next entry.

I want to update you all on Dan’s great adventure. I think I can safely start using Dan’s real name: Woody Norwood.

Woody called me every night last week and left a voice mail for me to let me know he was okay and how the trip was progressing. He and his sailing partner made it safely to each day’s destination and had a ball doing it.

Woody has informed me that there is a strong possibility that the whole trip will be featured in next month’s Sail Magazine. How about that! Yes, Woody successfully completed his trip. He made his dream come true! Way to go Woody!

Wow, that is terrific news about Woody living his dream. We can all do that, if willing to pay the price. And how wonderful that the trip will be featured in the Sail Magazine. HOORAY! for Woody. Looking forward to hearing about your tent. For a CAT? This is interesting. Lucky cat. Hmm, maybe you're not meaning cat as in pet, but CAT as in machine or something else. Will have to see, won't I? Really do enjoy visiting here. Have a great day. I intend too. *Barb*

How cool!  I hope it is featured!  Now, what's up with the cat tent?  Isn't it supposed to be a "Pup" tent?  J/K!  Bring it on!  I'm listening!  JAE

Looking forward for the cat tent entry.

Our cat somehow got locked up in the house today while we were at work.  It all worked out as she's housebroken.  She curled up with the poodle.

Congrats to friend and his sailing adventures!

Congratulations to Woody; quite the sailing accomplishment in an open dingy. I once sailed a Laser thirty miles down the Red Sea, from the port city of Eilat to a Israeli kibbutz in the Sinai desert.  With 20 knots of wind and four foot seas on my starboard quarter, it was a white knuckled Nantucket sleigh ride. 'Course, I was young, dumb and fearless at the time.
Youth ... there is no substitute.
Nice piece, I enjoyed reading your journal
